He finds nothing to link her to the robbery, nor to the missing money's location. After attending a church service with them, where he compels Sherry in his disguise to not hold any secrets, Malcolm finds the missing money in Trent's footlocker.

Just as Chirkoff is about to kill them, Kurtis arrives with a taser and saves the day. Big Momma takes a job as a house mother at the school , while Charmaine is enrolled as a student. Malcolm and John stake out the house of Sherry's estranged grandmother, Hattie Mae Pierce—an obese, elderly African American woman, whom her friends affectionately call Big Momma—in Cartersville, Georgia. After setting up security cameras and ending up in the shower curtain, Big Momma rushes to the toilet, causing her to defecate quite violently as a result of eating homemade stewed prunes. They soon find out she is about to leave town for two weeks to care for her ill friend at the hospital.

Big Momma's House is a 2000 American crime comedy film, directed by Raja Gosnell, and written by Darryl Quarles and Don Rhymer. Believe it or not, the Big Momma's House series rigidly follows the classic Hollywood trilogy structure. Big Momma's House was an origin story, revealing how Martin Lawrence first came to dress up like a fat old lady. Then in Big Momma's House 2, things began to fall apart for Lawrence, as evidenced in the scene where he lost his job as a nanny for being incompetent and quite creepy.
